Description

Natural bamboo charcoal water filters, hand-crafted bamboo charcoal pendants and natural charcoal soap.

Bamboo charcoal is a high quality, eco-friendly product. Produced without chemical processes, it is a beautiful and versatile material which is sustainable and leaves no waste, and is ideal as a natural water filter.

Our charcoal is made in Japan in clay kilns using traditional methods that draw on the wisdom of ages past and we are excited to make this wonderful material and all its benefits available to more people.

Just leave it in a jug filled with tap water and it will slowly filter out impurities such as chlorine and chloramines to make your water tastier and free from typical tap water odour.

After using charcoal as a water filter for 2 months you can reuse it in the home for a further 6 to 12 months. Dry out in the sun to maintain good condition, your charcoal can have a very useful second life!

As well as the water filters, we offer hand-crafted bamboo charcoal pendants and now natural charcoal soap.
